The staff and bartenders here are great. They still have large $3 Bud Draft bowls. However, that's where the good vibes end. The patrons here are very clicky douches and seem to have a sense of entitlement. For example, I was standing by the left end of the bar against the wall and a couple of girls actually asked if I could move out of the way so they could stand there instead. That was just the general attitude of the patrons here. The music is less rock and more terrible disco. For a better rock n roll dive bar experience, go to Duffs.

Horrible experience. Great bartenders until 10 to 4 whereby they aggressively told us we needed to go. We’d bought a pint at 0340 and they just grabbed the pint from the table and told us to leave. Long haired guy said if I didn’t leave right now he would grab me by the hair and throw me out. Shame, you shouldn’t sell the drink at that time if you aren’t willing to give them more than 10 minutes to drink it. Won’t come back.

The is a pretty standard bar. Music is too loud to have a conversation. On top of that the bouncer was pretty agressive when i tried to go back in after a cigarette, was man-handled and treated like a vagrant. Rocka Rolla is a good last resort.

I’ve never been treated more rudely by a doorman than by this ego-monster at the door.

We walked in around 11pm, the bar was maybe at 25% capacity, and this horribly-mannered man with a massive ego to defend turned us away as rudely as he could, and for no reason. He first claimed that we were intoxicated, which was impossible since we hadn’t had a single drink yet.

I’ve lived in NY almost 10 years, treat all hospitality staff I meet like new friends, and have never been tuned away from a bar, unless it was over capacity.

He was so insanely rude I felt compelled to take a photo of him. So there he is.

Anyways, we moved on to another establishment, but one member of our group went back to this bar later in the evening and was turned away again by the same man, different reason.

Dear bar owner, this man should not be dealing with customers, and especially not representing your establishment at the front door.

Nothing is going to fix that overly-inflated ego other than a psychologist or a trip to visit a shaman.

Good luck.
