Paul’s Da Burger Joint
1. Kirk's BIG Melt $11.19: Well, despite BIG being in bold, it's not that big. Meat done to order--I ordered medium, kinda got medium-well, but that's alright. Meat tasted pretty good. The three cheeses were great. Some of the grilled onions were stringy. The only real complaint was that it soaked through the bottom piece of bread--kinda turned it to mush. Overall tastes pretty good. Better than Denny's. A little too expensive for what you get though. 6/10.
I came here because I saw it is regarded as the best burger in NYC (said on the wall outside the store). I ordered the St Marks burger. It tastes really good! Compared to Shake Shack, the size is three times bigger, the taste is at least as good, and the price is 1.5 times higher (reasonable for its size). The burgers are a little more oily than Shake Shack’s. You won’t regret to try!
Look at the size of these burgers.. man and they are juicy a.f. they also serve beer and soda floats. It's a small place so the dining may not be too comfortable but the burgers are great and this is NYC so you should be used to eating in small places. A+++
Burger was solid. The patty alone is about a 4.
I like that they have a produce bar for dressing the burger. This way I could get my onion, lettuce, tomato... proportions just right.
Truly awesome burgers. If you like or (as I do) LOVE a good burger, this is a must eat at place! The East Side Burger is my fave, but I also love the Texas Burger. Both are pictured here bunless, but they will serve yours with a bun if you want. 😉 Located in a great neighborhood for walking around, shopping, etc. Not only will I be back, I will be back as often as I can get here.
